Two locals, Kickstand Coffee & Kitchen owner Nick Hardin and his wife, Kim Hardin, took home the top spot in the Pro division on both days of racing this past weekend for the first round of the Cascadia Dirt Cup mountain bike race series, dubbed the “Deux-Deuro,” which was held at the Post Canyon trail system west of Hood River.

To the editor: I am currently the president of the board of Community Meal, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We provide a hot meal every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the dining room of the St. Vincent de Paul ministry facility at 315 West Third Street. Community Meal has been around since April 1, 1983.
