Months — and in one case more than a year — of campaigning for candidates seeking elective public offices came to a head Tuesday night, as the 2014 General Election ballots of thousands of Klickitat County residents were tabulated by the Auditor’s Office.

Klickitat County’s prosecutor and sheriff jointly have asked the Washington State Patrol and the state Attorney General’s office to investigate three citizen complaints against two county elected officials and certain county employees.
