The Dalles Beautification Committee and the Lions Club have joined forces in the restoration of the Vogt Fountain at Sorosis Park, which is nearly complete.

Mid-Columbia Lions Follies’ “Gilligan’s Island, the Untold Story” continues April 12, 13, and 14 at 7:30 p.m. Follies is an annual fundraiser for Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation (OLSHF). This year, 50 percent of the proceeds will also go to the Hood River Children’s Park playground project.
