The Hood River Valley Eagles volleyball team achieved many remarkable goals this year, highlighted by qualifying for the OSAA 5A state tournament for a second straight season.

The Hood River Valley Eagles volleyball team this past Saturday punched their ticket to the state playoff quarterfinals after their sweep against a tough and young Wilsonville team that gave the Eagles all they could handle.

After great play at the Century tournament last weekend, the Eagles volleyball team fought their way back to .500 and were 4-4 on the season.

Last week, the Eagles opened league play against undefeated Pendleton at home. Losing in three sets, the Eagles moved to 2-3 on the season heading into their tournament at Century over the weekend.
