Fresh off a fourth-place finish at the 5A state championships two weeks ago, the HRV boys and girls cross country team had arguably an even better performance last week at a race that was simply for fun… and bragging rights.

The HRV boys and girls cross country teams were predicted to finish near the top of the heap at the end of the season and at Saturday’s state championship meet in Eugene, there were no surprises.

Calm, cool, cloudy weather. Home course advantage. Solid racing all season long.
