(The Center Square) – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is expanding partnerships with local law enforcement in Tennessee resulting in major arrests of violent criminals.
(The Center Square) – The GOP-led House Judiciary immigration subcommittee held another hearing Tuesday on sanctuary jurisdictions, with subcommittee Chairman Tom McClintock, R-Calif., saying lawmakers would get the chance to vote on his related bill before the full House of Representatives.
(The Center Square) – White House border czar Tom Homan confirmed over the weekend that U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar is still actively under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security.
(The Center Square) – Congressional Republicans have introduced dozens of bills since January 2025 challenging sanctuary policies. Most have been referred to committees and seen no further action, despite Republican control of Congress and GOP-led committees holding at least nine hearings on the issue over the same period.
