The inaugural Hops & Hogs Fest BBQ competition organized by The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce and Sedition Brewing Company brought a plethora of competitors from all over the Gorge.

The barbecue contest will be held at the Lewis and Clark Festival Park on Saturday, June 16, and is sponsored by The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce and Sedition Brewing Company.

According to Eric, “This area of the Columbia is a lot less crowded than the lower river and can yield quick limits. When conditions are right, I’ve had some really good luck up there.”
