With a pair of weekend doubleheaders still left to play in the season, Columbia Gorge ‘AAA’ Hustlers head coach Ed Ortega discussed the summer season and the future of the program. Although his team has gone through its share of ups and downs, Ortega is happy with the overall development this group has shown over the past two months of action.

East Cascade Electric posted a win and a tie in two games played before Memorial Day weekend in The Dalles. The 14U group ended up in a 6-6 tie with Spooky’s in a May 21 matchup played at Quinton Street Ballpark and two days later, they rebounded with a 13-4 blowout win over Y-102.
