To the editor: It is time for Wasco County residents and Oregonians to wake up and exhibit some common sense. It is time to abandon any liberal progressive tendencies. I support Donald Trump and what he is trying to do for America.
To the editor: Please take care of the animals! When the weather is very hot or very cold, we need to watch out for the animals because they depend on us for their well-being.
To the editor: Now is the time to get behind our own Senator Jeff Merkley and urge him to run for President in 2020. Those of us here in Oregon know his progressive and common sense views on the issues and his beyond reproach integrity.
To the editor: The oil train wreck was not a good thing, but come on people, don’t you think you are carrying it too far? How many trains go through the area every year and how many incidents have there been?
To the editor: In the last week there have been several letters to the editor supporting gun control. Gun control is not the answer. These people seem to think if gun control is legislated then there won’t be any more shootings. They don’t seem to understand that the only ones turning in their guns will be the law abiding citizens.
To the editor: Regarding Connie Krummrich’s recent letter in the Chronicle: All of the common sense gun control measures are already on the books. All that remains are useless “feel good” measures that only restrict law-abiding citizens’ legal use of firearms.
To the editor: I was extremely disappointed to read in The Chronicle that the Wasco County Commissioners are opposed to common sense gun control measures that are expected to be proposed in the Oregon Legislature.
