The Port of Cascade Locks recently announced Olga Kaganova as its new deputy general manager. Kaganova recently moved to the Cascade Locks area from Portland, where she worked at a job corps center with the U.S. Department of Labor.

The Port of Cascade locks is eyeing computerized and physical upgrades to speed up and revitalize operations at the Bridge of the Gods over the next decade.

Crossings over the Bridge of the Gods may soon be getting quicker as the Port of Cascade Locks is looking at having the bridge outfitted with electronic tolling technology by this fall.
