On July 16, Oregon launched a new suicide and crisis lifeline (988) that will connect people in need of behavioral health crisis support in Oregon and nationwide to care and support, according to a press release from Oregon Health Authority.

This year 2020 has not shown to be a happy and friendly one. With all the social gatherings being canceled and government telling us to stay in doors for our own good, the human suffers. We are meant to socialize and when that is deprived we must turn to other ways of keeping our spirits up.

There have been no new cases in Wasco or Hood River counties. The one case that visited this area in December is unrelated to the current outbreak in Washington State, according to the press release.
