Lane Turner went 3 for 3 with an RBI, and Bryson Caldwell scattered four hits and no earned runs with four strikeouts, as the No. 10-ranked Dufur Rangers posted a 12-1 mercy-ruled victory over Union Thursday at the Les Schwab Icebreaker Tournament in John Day.

Dufur baseball coach C.S. Little ended up with a roster of 10 players — six claimed all-league honors — three on the first team.

Horizon Christian came back from a 9-2 deficit to tie the score in the sixth inning, but Dufur scored three runs in the seventh and Cole Parke escaped a late jam to give the Rangers a 12-11 victory Wednesday in Blue Mountain Conference baseball play in Hood River.
