Despite rally, HRV falls to Gresham in home opener

A mid-game rally bolstered by solid pitching from Hood River Valley’s freshmen wasn’t enough for the Eagles to get a win in their home-opener against Gresham Monday night, falling to the Bulldogs, 10-4. The score on paper, though, didn’t accurately reflect how well the Eagles performed for the majority of the non-league contest.
