William (Bill) Barker, 85, of White Salmon, passed away on April 11, 2018, in Vancouver.
Funeral services will be a private event with only close relatives.
Bill Barker was born in Long Beach, Calif., on Aug. 28, 1932. He married Wanda VanAlstine on Dec. 1, 1950. He was employed at the sawmill in Bingen for SDS Lumber Company for 36 years.
He was a veteran of the Post Korean era and served in the Navy.
He had many hobbies including playing bass guitar in a country band, dune buggies and was a dirt bike rider for several years.
Bill Barker is preceded in death by his first wife Wanda Barker and second wife Edie Walker Kay.
Bill Barker is survived by his sons David and Donald, and daughter Vickie, sister Marjorie Svenson, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
