Stephen David Crown, 53, passed away suddenly on July 5, 2016 while grieving the recent death of his beloved mother. Born in the U.K., he emigrated to the U.S. with his family and graduated from Wahtonka High School in 1982.
David's faithful service to and care for his ailing mother over the last decade had been his first priority. He nursed her back from the brink of death on many occasions, and gave up his own comfort to see that she was cared for. Always quick with a hug and an uplifting word, David was an encourager and a giver to anyone fortunate enough to encounter him. His wit was unparalleled and he loved to laugh. If laughter is medicine, then David was a doctor to many.
David is survived by his brothers Marc and Tony…and all who loved him and called him friend.
Memorial service for David will be held at the Eagles Lodge, Saturday, July 9, 2016.
