Robert Rosenburg

Robert (Bob) Rosenburg passed away in Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital on Oct. 27, 2015, from complications attributed to cancer. He was born on Jan. 9, 1930, in San Jose, Calif., to Sven and Dagmar (Groth) Rosenburg.

As a young boy Bob lived in Condon, Ore., with a foster family while his mother served overseas in the military. He joined the military in 1947, first serving in the Navy and then the Army until 1958. Returning to Condon, he worked for the county road department as a heavy equipment operator until moving to The Dalles in 1967. He worked in the aluminum industry at both The Dalles and Goldendale plants until he retired.
