Reverend Dorothy Lee Franklin

The Reverend Dorothy Lee Franklin passed from this life after a period of declining health in Hood River, Ore., on May 31, 2018. Dorothy was born in Camas, Wash., on Jan. 26, 1934, to Milton J. and Bettie Boone Ewing Franklin.

She graduated from Camas High School in 1952 with highest honors and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in agriculture (horticulture) from the State College of Washington (now Washington State University) in 1956, a Master of Science degree in dairy chemistry from the University of Connecticut in 1966 and a Master of Divinity from Interfaith Metropolitan Theological Education in Washington, D.C., in 1977. She was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in the United States on Sept. 10, 1977, by the National Capital Presbytery in Washington, D.C.
