On Sunday June 2,2024, Sean Kangas, a beloved son and father, passed away. Sean was born to Wayne Kangas and Audrey Nelson. Sean graduated from Wahtonka High School. Sean lived in The Dalles, Ore., for the majority of his life as well as Salem, Ore. Sean loved music and became a very talented guitar player. Sean also really enjoyed spending time fishing.

Sean is survived by his parents, Wayne and Audrey, his brother Steve Daggett, and daughter Clara, Marie Kangas. In lieu of a funeral, the family invites those friends and family who are able to a celebration of Sean’s life, where we can share stories of our favorite time with Sean, listen to his best friend’s live band, as well as enjoy food on July 13 from 2-4 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge in The Dalles.
