Lloyd Kendal Cook passed away Dec. 21, 2023, at St. Charles Hospital in Redmond, Ore. Lloyd was born Feb. 15, 1932, to parents Curtis (Jum) and Henrietta (Burres) Cook. He was 91 years of age at the time of passing.
He enjoyed traveling, working as a cook, his dogs, and staff at Haven’s House, where he lived the last 5 years. They called him “Cookie Monster” because he liked cookies, and “their little man.” He also loved his bananas, honey buns, munchies and whipped topping.
He is survived by his twin brother Floyd (Bose) and his wife Song Cook; niece Amy Junker and husband William Junker; nephew Charles Cook; and many more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Henrietta Cook, and Darrell Cook, William Cook, Byron Cook, Delmer Cook, David Cook and sister Lillian Yocum and Florence.
A viewing was held Dec. 31 at Anderson’s Tribute Center Celilo Chapel. Interment will be held at a later date in Payette, Idaho. Visit www.AndersonsTributeCenter.com to leave a note of condolence for the family.
