Funeral homes often submit obituaries as a service to the families they are assisting. However, we will be happy to accept obituaries from family members pending proper verification of the death.
Isaac Robert Bell was born in White Salmon, Washington, on May 1, 1997, to Austin and Denise Bell. Isaac is fondly remembered by his family as a stubborn and grumpy kid who grew into a remarkably funny, compassionate, and caring young man.
Isaac was a talented Columbia High School athlete who lettered in both football and track. Following high school, he expanded his horizons by traveling to Taiwan to assist Camp Beyond and to attend college.
Isaac was a man of immense creativity. Whether he was working with music, art, or 3D graphics, he had a unique gift for bringing ideas to life. He worked professionally as a freelance artist and draftsman at Bell Design Company, but his influence extended far beyond his career.
Five years ago, Isaac’s life was transformed when he fully submitted to Jesus Christ. From that moment on, he lived with a profound sense of purpose. He poured his heart into serving others, whether coaching football at Henkel Middle School and Columbia High School, leading at Camp Jonah, or mentoring the youth at Grace Baptist Church.
Two years ago, Isaac was diagnosed with stage four cancer. Despite the diagnosis, his spirit remained unbroken. He continued to serve his community, his friends, and his family with a strong passion, never stopping until his health no longer allowed it. His life became a testament to the Gospel he loved.
Isaac Robert Bell entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Dec. 4, 2025, at 10:25 a.m., after a courageous battle with cancer. He was faithful to God until the very end and is no longer suffering, but running with Jesus — completely healed and living in his new body. All the mysteries he longed to know about his Savior are revealed to him.
Isaac is survived by his parents, Austin and Denise Bell; his sisters, Renee (and Pedro) Casarez and Shivani (and Austin) Schulz; and his brother, Elijah (and Brooklyn) Bell. He was the adored uncle to four nieces, Iylie, Alycia, Asia, and Eden.
Whether people knew him as nephew, cousin, grandson, Coach Bell, Baja or just a friend, this community will miss him dearly.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 4:7-8
If Isaac has impacted your life in any way, you are invited to join us in the celebration of his life on Dec. 20 at 3:30 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Meal following.
