Richard Keith (Dick) Morley, age 74, passed away July 25, 2019, in Portland, Ore. Dick was born Dec. 27, 1944, in White Salmon. He was the oldest of five children born to Richard Keith Morley and Beverly Irene Combs.
Dick is survived by daughters Pamela Gardnier of Portland, Ore., and Denise Tarr of Youngstown, Ohio; siblings, Teresa Heishman of Chehalis, Donald Morley of Mill-A, Karen Newell of Underwood, and Robbin Erbes or Evart, Mich.; nine grandchildren, Starlyn, Alexiah, Alissa, Gavin, Jaelynn, Claleb, Aleynah, Gage and Ian.
Dick attended schools in Arlington and Stevenson, graduating from Stevenson High School in 1963. Dick entered the Air Force after high school and served his country honorably. During his career he worked in construction working for others and owned his own company NailMor Construction.
His passion was wood working and was very creative making many custom gifts for his family.
Dick will be missed by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be held in White Salmon at West Klickitat District 01 Cemetery on Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. A celebration gathering will be held directly after at the Mt. Adams Elks Lodge.
