Dwight L. “Bo” Worsham passed away March 22, 2024, at Providence Memorial Hospital in Hood River, Ore., surrounded by family. Bo was born on Aug. 1, 1945, in Nevada to mother Opal and father Dwight. At the time of passing, Bo was 78 years old.
Bo was an only child. Bo grew up in Parkdale, Ore., and went to school at Hood River Valley High School. He worked for SDS Lumber from 1967 to 2010. He married Carolyn Worsham, love of his life, in 1965 and was married for 58 years, until his death. Bo had three children. Bo worked for SDS Lumber until his retirement in 2010.
Bo was a selfless and family-oriented man, liking to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Bo enjoyed working on lawnmowers, cars and building birdhouses in his shop. Bo also helped with the 4-H Club and Boy Scouts when his children were young. Bo also helped with multiple Community Ed sports throughout his life.
Bo was preceded in death by his son Aaron and both parents. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Worsham, children Jason Worsham and Jennifer Bloom, as well as daughter-in-law Manessah and son-in-law Jeremy. Bo is also survived by grandchildren Jocelyn, Peyton, Brantley, and Zoe.
A graveside service for Bo will be held at the Upper Valley Cemetery in Parkdale on April 11 at 1 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson's Tribute Center, 1401 Belmont Ave., Hood River. Visit www.AndersonsTributeCenter.com to leave a note of condolence for the family.
