Funeral homes often submit obituaries as a service to the families they are assisting. However, we will be happy to accept obituaries from family members pending proper verification of the death.
Donald Frazer went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Feb. 21, 2024, at the age of 65. He passed due to complications related to kidney failure.
Don was born to Bob and Ginger Frazer in 1958 in The Dalles, Ore. He grew up there and graduated from Wahtonka High. He was married to Rose for 25 years. He worked at Martin Marietta Aluminum in Goldendale, Wash., until one of their layoffs caught up with him. He went on to get a degree as an electrical engineer and moved to Portland, Ore., to work in that field. He also pursued his passion as Cowboy Action Shooter, Flint McCloud. He loved the Old West and the independent spirit it stood for. He was a good shot, competing around the country and ultimately becoming third in the world in the Duelist Division. He also loved writing and published a Western novel under his cowboy name.
He had a big heart and a bigger personality, both of which were apparent within minutes of meeting him. He loved the Lord and was a member of the First Christian Church, where he could be found Sundays in the congregation singing with his good friend, Kay Pratt.
Waiting for him at home was his mother, Ginger. Those left here include his father Bob, his sister Kelley, brother-in-law Ed, nieces Jillian and Olivia and cousins Jim and Ed.
A celebration of life will be planned for later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Kidney Foundation is suggested.
