Carol Ann Berry passed away Jan. 19, 2024, at home in Hood River, Ore. Carol was born Oct. 18, 1951, and was 72 years of age at the time of passing.

Carol was born in Salem, Ore., to Florence Roberts (Vetter) and Elden Lewis Roberts. She was the wife of Jerry Dean Berry and their life together started on June 31, 1993, in Hood River. Carol was employed in the packing house at Duck Wall Fruit Company.
Carol loved to spend her leisure time reading, piecing together puzzles, caring for her two birds, socializing and was a living example of her Christian faith.
Carol is survived by her husband, Jerry Dean Berry of Hood River; children, Gwendolyn Louise Berry, Amy Jo Lutie (Berry), Jessica Marie Berry, Melissa Sue Spurlock, Margaret Tina Snyder and Robert Snyder; grandchildren, Sasha Rae DeMoss (Prante) and Jordan DeMoss, Henry Fritz Lutie, Wendell Colt Jim and Jerilynne Jim, Samantha Ann Snyder, Cyrus Joseph Jim, Natasha Maryann Snyder, and Silvia Ann Jim; great-grandchildren, Addison Rae Demoss, Alexander Wyett Jim, Aiden Wayne Demoss, and Layla Leigh Ford. She was preceded in death by parents, Elden Roberts and Florence Roberts, and siblings Elden Roberts II, Eugene Roberts, and Shirley Hinman.
Services are planned for Carol on Friday, Feb. 2 as follows: A time to visit with family, view and watch a special tribute video created by family will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Anderson's Tribute Center, 1401 Belmont Ave., Hood River; graveside committal at 2 p.m. at Mt.
