Barbara Elliott Clark, 94, passed away in Redding, California, surrounded by her family. She was born in Glendive, Montana, to Frank and Katie Fettig on Jan. 19, 1931. She was the oldest, with four brothers, Sebastian, Harvey, Lester and Gene. Gene is the only surviving brother and resides in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Barbara married Dale D. Elliott on Oct. 19, 1950, and after he served in Korea, they moved to The Dalles, Oregon, and raised four children, Randy (Kathy) , Rick (Moe), Linda, deceased (Bill), and Mike, deceased. She left behind the following grandchildren: Taner (Tanna) Elliott, Shane (Hailey) Elliott, Scott (Monica) Gill, Mike (Jennifer) Gill, Chrissy (Ben) Ford, Samantha (David) Silva, Toby (Stephanie) Cummings, Tony (Dena) Cummings, Joe (Jennifer) Cummings, Alicia (Matt) Kiser, Morgan (Kevin) Acker, and Ashley (Jake) Rodriguez; 27 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Barbara was preceded in death by Dale Elliott in 1995 and went on to marry George Clark in 1996; he preceded her in death in 2017. Barbara also enjoyed living in Cannon Beach, Oregon, for more than 30 years as well as wintering in 1000 Palms, California, for more than 20 years. She spent her remaining years in The Dalles, Oregon, and about a year ago moved to Redding to live with Rick and Moe.
Spencer, Libby, Powell Funeral Home is in care of arrangements. The service will be on April 11 at 1 p.m. There will be a celebration of life at the Shilo Inn at 2 p.m.
