Marvin E. Mason, 69, of Trout Lake rode his motorcycle through the pearly gates on Feb. 9, 2019. He was born on May 16, 1949 in Republic to parents Sidney and Velma (Gent) Mason.
Marv grew up in the Republic area and graduated from Republic High School.
Marv married and had two children; Sidney and Carri. Marv was a longtime resident of Trout Lake. He worked several years with the U.S. Forest Service and became well known in the Gorge area.
Marv enjoyed riding motorcycles and helping people. Marv had an incredible gift- he could fix just about anything. Marv cherished all of his friends and family.
He is survived by his daughter, Carrisue (Troy) Belle of Delaware, nephews Rod and Gary, niece Cathy and grandchildren Adriana and Derick.
Marv was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Larry and Gwyn and his son Sidney.
A community gathering /memorial service will be held at a later date.
