Linda Berral (Lindsey) Miller passed away in the loving arms of her family at Portland Providence Hospital on April 20, 2016, at the age of 67.
Linda was born in Hood River, Ore., on Aug. 23, 1948, to parents Clinton and Adale Lindsey. She was the youngest of six siblings: Marvoraneen Regan, Janice Kellogg, Thomas Lindsey, Scotty Lindsey, and Leonard Lindsey.
She met and married the love of her life, Alfie Miller, on May 13, 1972. She grew up and spent most of her life in the Hood River Valley and spent nine years in Miami, Okla., where Linda and Alfie raised cattle. Linda and Alfie celebrated 44 memorable years together.
Linda and Alfie have five children: Jay Miller, Tina Jorgensen, Carrie DeRousse, Lynn Miller and Rachel Green. She loved spending time with her 16 grandkids and eight great-grandkids. Family was most important to Linda; she attended any and all family events, including birthday parties, sports events, graduations and family trips. Linda loved the Lord and was saved in 1999. Linda had many pets and loved them all, including her recent dog, Mickey. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Marv.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 29 from 5-7 p.m. at Anderson Tribute Center, and a memorial service will be held at Valley Worship Center in Parkdale on Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m., with burial at Parkdale Cemetery. A potluck reception will follow at the church.
