Kenneth Lee Bergin

Kenneth Lee Bergin passed away Oct. 10, 2014, in Lyle, Wash. He was born March 5, 1957, in Spokane, Wash., to Leland and Dorothy Mae Bergin.

Ken attended McLoughlin High School in Milton Freewater, Ore. His early years were spent in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and California, eventually ending up in the Columbia River Gorge. He worked as department director of Washington Gorge Action Programs in Bingen, Wash., for the last 23 years, during which time he formed many lasting friendships. He married the love of his life, Stephanie Keeling, on Aug. 19, 1999. They have one child, Winter Kaytlin, 15.
