Juanita MacDougall

Juanita MacDougall, known to her friends as “Mama Nita,” died Aug. 23, 2016, of breast cancer in her home surrounded by members of her family. Her unwavering faith in God, the personal care she received from her loving family, and the love and prayers of family and friends carried her through her final journey.

Nita was born Juanita Angeline Blalock on Nov. 28, 1949, to Robert L. Blalock and Mable L. Hunt in Glendale Calif. Nita was survived by her brothers Robert (“Bob”) Blalock, Lee Blalock, and Merlin Jenson, and sisters Donna Prewett, and Paulette Zazueta, and her children, Lloyd (“Lee”) Corwin, Lela Lowe, Cindy Farleigh, and Cable Parsons. Nita was also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
