Helen Louise (Traxtle) Albrecht died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Feb. 3, 2018, in Hood River, Ore. A life-long resident of Hood River, Helen was born on Sept. 19, 1934, and worked for many years until she retired at Duckwall's in Hood River. She enjoyed yard sales, working in her yard, and collecting dolls and decorations for her and Don's home.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Donald Albrecht, brothers James Traxtle, Richard Traxtle, Bill Traxtle, and Jack Traxtle, and her sister MaryAnn Cosgrove.
Survivors include her brother Lyle Traxtle and sister Esther App, and her surviving children: Carol Dine, Cheryl Dibiaso (husband Tony), Linda Govea (husband Anthony), Steven (wife Dawn) and Dawn Smith (husband Mike). She has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
