Garland Wyatt was born in Hollister, Calif., to Stella Abbott-Wyatt and Marion Wayne Wyatt on Feb. 16, 1941.

He married Jeanie Yvonne Gwynn on Nov. 20, 1961, in Vancouver.
Mr. Wyatt, a longtime Lyle resident, worked for area sawmills and was a driver for passenger services. He enjoyed driving, fishing and gardening.
Garland passed away in White Salmon on Oct. 16, 2019, at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife Jeanie Wyatt of Lyle, his sister Mary L. Bishop of Portland, Ore., granddaughter Crystal Lee Wyatt and great granddaughter Charlee Jean Martin of Suquamish.
He was preceded in death by sons Duane Allen and Vince Lee Wyatt and brother Harold Carl Wyatt.
He will be laid to rest at Finley-Sunset Memorial Portland, Ore. No formal services will be held.
