Elizabeth R. Cole passed away June 19, 2013, at her home in Hood River, Ore., surrounded by her loved ones. Elizabeth was born Feb. 27, 1949, in Richland, Wash., to Joseph and Mae (Ogletree) Haaga.
Elizabeth is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 26 years, John (Mike) Dicks. They were married on Dec. 31, 1986, in Vale, Ore. She is also survived by her wonderful son, John M. Gates, her loving daughter, Jamie S. Walko, and three stepdaughters, Misty, April and Michelle.
What brought her the greatest joy in her life were her 12 grandchildren: Taylor, Justin, Cooper, Lexie, Carlie, Searra, Mya, Connor, Chloe, Jayden, Christian and McKenna.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Heart of Hospice.
