Funeral homes often submit obituaries as a service to the families they are assisting. However, we will be happy to accept obituaries from family members pending proper verification of the death.
Edwin Campbell Davis, 66, passed away at his home in Klickitat on Oct. 29, 2016. He was born on May 19, 1950, in Chehalis and, along with his brother Marvin, was adopted by Victoria M. (McCoy) Davis Rolo and William A. “Bill” Davis.
The family lived in many areas around the Mid-Columbia including White Salmon, Trout Lake, Bingen and Klickitat.
Edwin moved to Portland and worked for Pacific Power and Light as a payroll clerk for 25 years.
He was involved in the local theater groups and enjoyed that very much. He also loved to do crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Edith Davis of The Dalles; nephew Frank Meeks; niece Candi Neilsen; grandnieces and nephews Brittany, Abrianna, McKinley, Alex and Josie; and great grandniece and nephew Kya and Daxson.
A memorial gathering will be held at Ayutlense Family Mexican Restaurant in Bingen on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at noon.
