Donna M. Lash of Redmond, Oregon died June 8, 2014 at the age of 77. Donna was born July 3, 1936 in Redmond, OR to Henry “Hank” and Amy (Houston) Strixner. The family lived on Strixner Ave. which is now called Elkhorn Ave. and later moved to The Dalles, OR where Donna graduated from high school. She married Alvin Lash on November 27, 1954.
Donna is survived by her husband Alvin C. “Lad” Lash; son Steven Lash (Becky Walker Cooley); a daughter Cindy Meyers (Bob Meyers); son Brian Lash (Kristi Lash); 6 grandchildren Amy Clark, Jason Carrico, Kristie Lash, Brock Lash, Brennan Lash and Zoe Lash; 6 great grandchildren Olivia Lash, Emmery Clark, Asher Clark, Katelyn Carrico, Jacob Carrico and Abby Carrico; sister Beverly Van Nice of The Dalles, OR; Nephews Bill, David and Scott Van Nice. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna had a passion for people. She loved bowling, gardening and her family and friends. She also enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband.
No services will be held. Redmond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
