Don was born Sept. 12, 1928, to Ralph and Peggy Barber. He moved to Washington in 1940 and graduated from Clarkston High School in 1947. He then attended Washington State University.
He joined the U.S. Army in 1950. He served during the Korean War as part of the 233rd Ordnance command. He was honorably discharged in 1952 holding the rank of Corporal.
He returned to Clarkston where he worked at Hahn Supply in Lewiston Idaho. Don eventually moved to White Salmon where he was the owner operator of the Salmon Bowl as well as an independent contractor for 30 years.
He was a member of the Elks and enjoyed being with friends, traveling as a member of the Good Sam Club, dancing and anything sweet.
Don passed away at his home in Clarkston surrounded by family.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Ralph and Peggy Barber, wife Rosa Lee Barber in 1969 and brother Ken.
Surviving him is wife Sharon Bundy Barber, daughters Kathy Hobbs, Ginger Moore, sons Mike Barber, Eric and Deric Bundy. He has 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
