Diana Evelyn (Keezer) Daley died April 11, 2014, at the age of 81. Diana was born on Feb. 24, 1933, in Circle, Mont., to Arthur and Amy Belle (Counce) Keezer. She was the youngest of 10 children.
She grew up in Addy, Wash., then met and married Gordon K. Daley in 1949. They had three children: Ruth, Gordon A. and Charles, and resided in Hood River, Ore., until they moved to The Dalles in 1993 to be closer to Ruth.
Diana loved gardening, flowers, singing, animals, and being with friends and family.
She is survived by daughter Ruth Beecher, of The Dalles; Ruth’s companion Gordon Hinkle, of Hood River; son Charles Daley, of Hood River; grandson Jason Walls, of Portland; “adopted” granddaughter Julie Turner and her family, of The Dalles; “adopted” daughter Betty Sawdon and her family, of The Dalles; and lots of friends.
She was preceded in death by all of her nine brothers and sisters, her husband, Gordon K. Daley, and her son Gordon A. Daley.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Sorosis Park on May 10 at noon. Bring a potluck dish and come and celebrate Diana’s life with stories and memories.
