Christina Rose Pryse, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at her home in Parkdale, Ore. Christina was born April 14, 1940, in Prairie City, Ore., to Aaron and Clarys (Tureman) Davis. She grew up and attended school in Prairie City.
Christina married Dean G. Pryse in Prairie City on July 3, 1958. Dean worked for the United States Forest Service so together they resided in various towns in Oregon before deciding to settle in Hood River Valley.
Christina worked at Diamond Fruit for 34 years. Some of her hobbies included metal detecting, camping, hiking, knitting, working on puzzles and going to casinos.
Christina is survived by her husband, Dean Pryse; daughters, Vicky Pryse and Lori Adams; grandchildren Becky Donaghy, Jessie Donaghy and Dane Donaghy; mother, Clarys Anderson; brother, Roger Lange; and sister, Joan Harrel.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aaron Davis.
