Charles George Daley passed away Sept. 4, 2015. Charley was born Sept. 3, 1957, in The Dalles, Ore., the third of three children to Gordon and Diana Daley. He lived in Hood River, Ore., nearly all of his life.
Charley worked at Lava Bed Nursery and The Dalles Tire and Auto, Underwood Fruit, Diamond Fruit and various other jobs. His hobbies included cars and motorcycles. He was an easygoing, kind person whom everyone liked.
Charley was preceded in death by his dad, mom and brother Gordie.
He is survived by his sister, Ruth Beecher, her companion Gordon Hinkle and her son Jason Walls; the love of his life, Sherry Barringer; numerous cousins and many close and loving friends, and his dog, Jack.
A potluck celebration of life will be held Sunday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m. at his residence at 4770 Highway 35 (just before Hanel’s Mill, above Odell).
