Bruin wrestlers fifth at Columbia Gorge Invite

Matthias Posini won both of his matches by first-round falls to place first at 285 pounds. He pinned Calvin Evans of The Dalles in the semifinals and Brighton Curfman of Corbett in the final.

Wyatt Pulido was the runner-up at 132 pounds. He lost to Prairie High’s Aiden Judkins in the final after winning his semifinal match by fall over Stevenson’s Matthew Anderson. Holden Uffelman was second at 157 pounds after advancing to the final with pins in his first two matches. Columbia’s other runner-up was Robert Grabb IV, who lost to Castle Rock’s Landon Fulton in the 150-pound final.

The Bruins had one third-place finisher in Razo Salazar at 215. Three CHS wrestlers finished fourth: Ezekiel Carl at 150; Leland Beyer at 144; and Colt Calloway at 165.
