Good for Nothin’ String Band at Columbia Art Center June 3
The Good for Nothin' String Band will play the First Friday opening for the Columbia Center for the Arts’ “Pack It Up!” exhibition on June 3, from 6-8 p.m. Alexander Klivecka and Megan Alder play bluegrass and old-time tunes, and will be joined by Casey Davidson on upright bass and Lee Callender on fiddle. The group embraces traditional roots with vocal harmonies and lead instrumentals. Klivecka and Alder are new members of the Hood River community.
The event is free and open to the public.

‘Twin Mandos’ at Riverside
Internationally renowned mandolinists Evan Marshall and Brian Oberlin join forces for a Twin Mandolin Slingers show on Friday, June 3, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15. Marshall is widely regarded as the world’s premier solo performer on mandolin in the duo-style, which sounds like two instruments at once. Riverside Community Church, 317 State St., Hood River.
