Join Columbia Center for the Arts and Celilo Restaurant and Bar for unique dinner events held in the Columbia Arts Gallery. The new A La Art dinner series features seasonal, gourmet meals created by Celilo’s Chef Ben Stenn. In partnership with local farmers and wineries, each dinner will pair wine tastings with seasonal cuisine.
This will be a VIP opportunity for up to 60 guests to privately view gallery exhibitions, while tasting the best the Gorge has to offer. Price includes appetizers, salad, entrée, dessert, and wine pairings with each course. Additional offerings of wine and beer are available for purchase.
The menu for the first dinner on March 17 includes Celilo house made pickles and charcuterie, assorted domestic cheeses with our baguettes and lavish crackers, warm squash soup with crème fraiche and chives, Hunter Farm Mache leaf salad with sunchoke puree, sherry vinaigrette and sweet onion marmalade, smoked Mediterranean mussels, shaved fennel and blood orange, fresh cilantro and citrus aioli, five spices rubbed Pork Loin from Payne Family Farm in Carlton Oregon.
Also included are roasted parsnip, carrot and rutabaga with steamed farro, sauce of whole grain mustard seed and pork jus, bittersweet chocolate panna cotta and Chantilly cream, ginger and molasses cookies, and chocolate truffles.
Cost is $95 per-person for each dinner (or $250 per person for the 3-part dining series)
