You find free admission, free parking, free workshops, and free advice at the third annual Greater Goldendale Chamber of Commerce Home and Garden Show April 15-17 at the Klickitat County Fairgrounds.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
This year, Haystack Broadcasting will be broadcasting from the show for the entire three-day run.
Shows of past years featured a broad variety of vendors, and this year's event is shaping up to follow in those footsteps. Previous shows attracted about 2,000 persons, and all indications are this year's show will live up to those expectations.
Home and Garden Show vendors will be in and around the Joan Frey Arena Building at the fairgrounds. Parking will be free and workshops will be free. There will be food vendors.
Workshops include: Organic Pest Management, Bluebirds of Bickleton, Tree Health, Arid Landscape Design, Square Foot Gardening, Tile Painting, Gardening 101, Landscaping with Natives, Building with insulating concrete, Doing More with Less (Pesticide) in Home Vegetable Gardens, Effective Tactics of Pest Management in Backyard Fruit Trees, Preparing Your Yard for Fire Safety, and Master Gardeners Programs.
Information is available by calling the Goldendale Chamber of Commerce at 773-3400 or by checking the website at www.goldendalechamber.org.
