Henkle Middle School's eighth-grade boys basketball team closed out a 4-6 season March 4 with a big 55-25 road win over Canyon Creek in Washougal.
Vince Cruse tallied a season-high 20 points in the game to head up a trio of Grizzlies who scored in double digits.
Thomas Jeter had 11 points, and Greg Tellez put in 10.
Nick Reeves added nine for the Grizzlies, who broke the game open with 17 points in the third quarter to take a 42-19 lead.
Cruse led the Grizzlies in scoring on the season, pouring in 64 points in eight games for an average of 8.4 points per game. Dom Yeager was second, netting 51 points in eight contests (6.4 ppg).
