Curry is also a featured guest at Solstice Wood Fire Cafe in Bingen on Friday night from 5 to 8 p.m. and the cafe is featuring special grass-fed beef menu.

At the Farmers' Market, Curry will show market shoppers how to prepare "Hamburger Steaks in Onion Cream Sauce" using local grass-fed beef from Jeffries Rancha

Curry writes in her new cookbook, Pure Beef, "Commonly known as Salisbury steak, this recipe dates from a time when a hamburger was considered a luxury item."

Solstice Wood Fire Cafe is offering a Friday night menu inspired by the cookbook. Curry will be on hand to answer any questions about grass-fed beef and sign copies of her book.Jefferies Ranch from Grass Valley is providing the beef.
