Don’t look now, but the Dufur Ranger girls’ basketball is two games out of third place in the Big Sky conference after securing their second straight win by a 51-48 score over Mitchell-Spray Friday in a league matchup played at Mitchell High School.

The Rangers stumbled out of the gates in the early going, trailing by as much as 14 points, but methodically chipped away, using defense and balanced scoring to help turn the tide.
