Letter to the Editor: Support Wolfe

I am currently an Engineer/Paramedic with Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue. I have been there and done that for 22 years. I am writing to endorse Bill Wolfe for MCF&R Board position 4.

I have known and worked with Bill throughout this time. For 15 years Bill was my shift’s officer. Bill worked for the District for 37 years. That alone speaks of dedication to the community. However that must not have been enough for Bill as now he endeavors to continue that service by being on the Board of Directors.

I know that when it comes time to make a hard decision his judgment can be trusted, as I have seen time and time again. These decisions ranged from innocuous to potentially life-and-death situations. That kind of experience is difficult for most people to acquire and now we have the opportunity to elect someone with that experience to a position where it can be uniquely utilized.

To the patrons of MCF&R I say we should grab the chance being offered here and put Bill’s fire experience back to work for the District. I say we should elect Bill Wolfe to Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue Board of Directors. Join me in doing just that when the ballots come out.
