Fire
Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue
Sept. 9, 1:28 a.m. – Personnel responded to the 1100 block of Emerson Street on a report of a fire in the road. Police were on scene prior to arrival. A melted plastic gas can was found which had been on fire. The fire was extinguished prior to arrival. City police will be handling the investigation.
Sept. 9, 9:07 p.m. – Personnel responded to the 1500 block of East 14th Street on a report of a burn complaint. Contact was made with a property owner who was having a small cooking fire in his backyard. The fire was attended with a source of water nearby for precaution; no problem was found.
Personnel also responded to 10 calls for emergency medical services.
Police Reports
The Dalles City
A criminal mischief report was taken Tuesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department after a victim reported his garage had graffiti applied to it. Another business in the area also had graffiti applied to it and a separate report was taken.
A theft report was taken Tuesday morning from the 200 block of East 2nd Street after a victim reported a bag full of his belongings was taken last week.
An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle report was taken Tuesday afternoon from the police station after a victim came in to report their vehicle was broken into overnight. The location of the incident was not made available by the department.
Robert Alvarado Ramos, 26, Sacramento, Calif., was arrested Tuesday evening in the 3200 block of Bret Clodfelter Way and is accused of five counts of providing false information to a police officer.
Amber Renee Whitefoot, 26, 906 East 13th St., was arrested Tuesday evening during a traffic stop in the 3000 block of West 10th Street and is accused of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
William Dean Goss, 29, 2435 East 14th St. was arrested Tuesday evening in the 300 block of West 8th Street and is accused of harassment, unlawful delivery of methamphetamines, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Ferman Brian Tufti, 55, 2730 Old Dufur Rd., was arrested Tuesday evening in the 500 block of Mt. Hood Street and is accused of two counts of probation violation and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Andrew J. Wahchumwah, 27, no listed address, was arrested early Wednesday morning at the In-Lieu site on a municipal court warrant for failure to appear.
A recovered stolen vehicle report was taken early Wednesday morning from a location undisclosed by the department.
Wasco County
A stolen vehicle report was taken Tuesday morning from Tygh Valley.
An unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and theft reports were taken Tuesday afternoon in Mosier after a victim reported her wallet was stolen from her vehicle.
Regional Jail
Elizabeth Virginia Labonte, 23, 322 West 10th St., was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.
Lindsey Rae Lick, 28, 4408 15 Mile Rd., was jailed Tuesday on a circuit court commitment for contempt of court.
Parole & Probation
Briar Lee Brossart, 20, Mosier, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the community corrections office and is accused of probation violation.
