Dufur coach admits abuse

Dufur track coach Ty Lee Wyman, 27, pleaded guilty last week to sex abuse charges involving two female students and was sentenced to 40 months in prison. “It was a difficult case for the victims, for the school staff and for the defendant’s family,” said Wasco County Chief Deputy Leslie Wolf.

UPDATED Wednesday, 1:44 p.m. Dufur track coach Ty Lee Wyman, 27, was arrested Monday and is accused of a number of crimes alleging sexual contact with two students, the Wasco County district attorney said Tuesday.
