To the editor: I just read about Janna Hege’s resignation from HAL (Home at Last Humane Society). This really upsets me! It seems that in the short time she took over, she made things happen – and fast. The Dalles desperately need HAL! Please people, work together and make it happen.

To the editor: I would like to tell you about a wonderful concert that I attended Friday at St. Peter’s Landmark. I love going to concerts at the Landmark; the church is so beautiful, the music sounds so great — it’s almost magical.

To the editor: Sunday afternoon, I attended the matinee performance of “Red, White and Tuna.” Dennis Morgan and Dave Owens were the only two cast members. Each did numerous parts. They were fabulous!
