To the editor: I would like to echo the comments of Carol Earl in The Chronicle of Sunday, regarding the view from the Sorosis Park overlook. This dramatic, sweeping panorama is a rarity for any town in this nation. This view of The Dalles is perhaps its greatest treasure; let’s preserve it.
